RGC was pleased to work with oil and gas group Senex Energy to assist with the management of their stand at the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA) convention in Brisbane.
Working with the team at Senex developed and managed a major band activation at their for the three days of the conference. The Senexerciser activation was designed to demonstrate Senex's sills and capacity to be an important player in the future of the il and gas industry under the theme, Senex: Fit for the Energy Challenge.
The activation centred around using recumbent exercise bikes for participants to generate a maximum level of watts that could relate to the various volumes of gas produced by the company to fuel everyday items.
RGC helped develop the activation and the concept, built the website (senexerciser.com.au), hired the booth staff, sourced the promotional items, managed the logistics and conducted the social media campaign. Graphic design supplied by Superscript.
Over 7,000 online impressions were generated, and 500 interactions initiated with convention-goers over the three-day convention. A prize was awarded to the male and female leaders of the challenge who were able to produce the most energy. The activation proved a worthwhile way to engage with visitors and a good talking point for Senex’s presence at APPEA.
